Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Single-transferable vote

  1. The first year following the enactment of this bill, the tuition fee cap in England shall be reduced to £9000.
  2. Each following year, the cap shall be reduced with a further £1500.
  3. The year in which the tution fee cap reaches 0, it is formally abolished.
  4. Her Majesty's Treasury shall be responsible for reimbursing public universities.
  5. Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland shall receive funding proportionally matching the money spent in England.

2 Short Title, commencement, and extent

  1. This act extend to England.
  2. This act may be cited as the Public Education Act 2022.
  3. The rest of this act comes into force upon royal assent.
