Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Designated defence articles

  1. Air-to-ground missiles
  2. Anti-tank guided weapons
  3. Communication security equipment
  4. Long-range missiles
  5. Man-portable air-defence systems
  6. Medium-range missiles
  7. MRAP patrol vehicles
  8. Multiple Rocket Launchers
  9. Night-vision devices
  10. Short-range missiles
  11. Unmanned aerial vehicles

2 Enhanced End Use Monitoring

  1. The defence articles in section 1 shall be fitted with a black box device to monitor location and use.
  2. Exports shall require a physical security assessment of the storage facilities.
  3. Recipients must provide defence articles with the same level of protection afforded to it by the British Government.
  4. Recipients must not transfer defence articles to third parties without written authorisation from the British government.

3 Short Title, Commencement and Extent

  1. This act applies to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
  2. This act may be cited as the Enhanced End Use Monitoring Act 2022
  3. This act comes into force upon royal assent.
