Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
Section 1: Action
If a Member of Parliament accepts a bribe in pursuit of gathering information against the offending party for judicial reasons, any applicable criminal charges that would otherwise be levied against them would be waived.
Section 2: Short title, commencement and extent
- This Act may be cited as the Whistleblower Protection Act 2021.
- This Act comes into force on the passing of this Act.
- This Act extends to the whole of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and its Overseas Territories.
