Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
Section 1: Action
Any steel that is used in the United Kingdom and not manufactured in Wales shall be additionally taxed an amount that is deemed comparable to the current sales tax.
Section 2: Short title, commencement and extent
- This Act may be cited as the Wales Steel Act 2021.
- This Act comes into force on the passing of this Act.
- This Act extends to the whole of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and its Overseas Territories.
