Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Amendments to the Languages of the UK Act 2020
The Languages of the UK Act 2020 is amended as such: Section 4, paragraph (1) is amended to read “This Act extends to Great Britain.”
2 Short title, commencement, and extent
- This Act may be cited as the Languages of the UK (Amendment) Act 2021.
- This Act extends to the entire United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
- This Act comes into force upon receiving royal assent.
