Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Definitions
Anti-fake news institutions refers to FactCheck, SocialTruth, òtító, The Sun, and Snopes.
2 Procurement of Military Equipment
- A grant of $60 million dollars shall be distributed to anti-fake news institutions. The goal of this additional funding is to increase the effectiveness of their anti-fake news programs.
3 Short title, commencement and extent
- This Act may be cited as the Against Fake News Act 2021.
- This Act comes into force on the passing of this Act.
- This Act extends to the whole of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and its Overseas Territories.
