Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1. Amendments to the Rail Modernisation Act 2019
Section 3 of the Rail Modernisation Act 2019 is to be repealed in full. A new Section 3 shall be added to the Rail Modernisation Act 2019 reading as such:
Construction of phase one of High Speech 2 is to be resumed along the same timetable as the continued construction of phase two of High Speed 2
2 Short title, commencement and extent
This Act may be cited as the High Speed Rail Act 2021
This Act comes into force upon receiving Royal Assent
This Act forms part of the law of England and Wales
